  • Flow Motion

FLOW MOTION classes, inspired by Continuum movement, explore our bodies as living processes unfolding moment by moment, breath by breath. Dropping beneath the level of cultural scripts about what function our bodies serve and how they move, Continuum investigates the movement of Life Force in its primary form of wave motion. Through various breaths, sounds and non-stylized movements, this practice awakens the fluidity in our systems. Our biological intelligence can then "choreograph" dances that renew a sense of wellness, spacious calm, and creative inquiry. Most explorations happen on yoga mats on the floor, with eyes open or closed.  Beginning and advanced movers are welcome!

Here is a short video of senior teacher, Elaine Colandrea, demonstrating a floor-based Continuum-movement exploration. Class is taught by Elisabeth Osgood
